As VP of Acquisitions, Mr. Calcagnie’s motivation is to find high quality investment opportunities before they come to market. Sean leads the company’s real estate selection process, actively seeking out potential in underdeveloped and up-and-coming communities. Mr. Calcagnie takes great pleasure in being at the forefront of the acquisitions market. 

 

Mr. Calcagnie earned his B.S. in Public Policy, Planning and Management with an emphasis in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. There he played as wide receiver for the Trojans football team. 

 

Prior to joining WJK Development, he owned and managed a variety of existing residential developments throughout Southern California. Sean was directly responsible for the acquisition, leasing, renovation, management, and disposition of approximately $40MM in residential properties throughout Southern California. Now Mr. Calcagnie seeks out off market opportunities and manages all broker and client relationships. Further, Mr. Calcagnie manages the disposition strategy for all new home sales.

 

Mr. Calcagnie is a licensed real estate broker in California. He has three Rose Bowl Victories 2007, 2008 and 2009 for the USC Trojans and is a member of the national fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He currently resides in Aliso Viejo, CA with his wife.
